On every photograph page there is a link called “Send Wolfcard”. With this link you can send the picture along with a greeting text you provide to a friend. The page will already look like the final card so you can get a feeling about how the finished Wolfcard will look like. Fill in your name, your email address and your recipient's name and email, type your text and hit the “Send Wolfcard” button. If everything goes as planned you are redirected to the final page and you and your friend will receive an email with the URL. If the receiver replies to this email, the mail will be addressed to the original sender.
If anything goes wrong or you need assistance you can contact the administrator of this service (me), by sending a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following information will be stored on the server when you send a Wolfcard: the given sender and recipient names, the message text (obviously) and your IP address. No email address is ever stored in a database. The URL of your card is generated randomly and is unique, so nobody will be able to read your card. But as with everything else on the internet, do not post personal information on a public forum. Your greeting card will be available under the URL you receive for 30 days, after that time the card expires and will be deleted from the database.
Short version: don't try to use the service for spamming. It does not work. You cannot influence the automatically generated email text. You cannot post links in your greeting card's text. A card's content will not be indexed by a search engine.
